Workplace bullying is existing from years but not it is increasing because of increasing cultural diversity and turbulent mindset of people. It may be physical or mental abuse or physical violence. It is very harmful for the organization. It ruins the working environment and teams are strayed from their goals.
In fact in competition it is not allowed. For an example if there is a competitor of yours and he is using wrong means to gain competitive advantages against you and conducting unfair practices then you cannot beat him. You can send him legal notice and go to the court of law but you cannot abuse or beat him.
So legal actions should be taken in these scenarios. In company there are different people work from different caste, community, culture, race, religion so bullying may happen the companies should respect the organizational diversity and take legal action about bullying.
