Ralph Nader proclaims that organizations have tremendous social obligations while Milton Friedman asserts that organizations have no obligation to do any more for society than is legally required. With whom do you agree? Why?

Solution

i agree with the statement of Ralph Nader. becasue organizations are providing employment to the people. they are manufacturing products by using resources which are scare in nature, they are fulfilling the needs and requirements of people. they are generating wealth to the stakeholders, paying regular taxes to the governments. where the same amount is going to be spend on welfare and developmental activites by governments.

organizations are doing social resopnisibility activities, they are considering the well being of society. for that they are establishing hospitals, schools and many NGO units to serve the people.

so, in my openion Nader statement is correct.

we dont know in what context Milton Friedman given the statement.
