Read the scenario: A company in the United States (U.S.) is relatively new and is creating innovative recyclable garden and landscape products that are more resource efficient. A garden hose for instance that can be laid down between rows of plants and has sensors built in to determine when the ground has been sufficiently watered for the type of plant and soil conditions.

The company has not experienced sufficient sales of their environmentally-oriented products. They have advertised in gardening magazines or home magazines to no avail. They have a very sparse simple website but it really only allows customers to choose a product, order it, and call or email for customer service. They need you to suggest some customer-building strategies to help them out.

The life cycle stage of the product is at conversion because we have reached people and we need them to decide to buy our products.

The generational type that applies to this products are: baby boomers and generation X

There is no information about networking tools 3 and 5 but I will answer based on experience

The company needs to redesign the website allowing more customer interaction, there should be videos where customer can choose a garden that looks like their own and can add the different products from the company to have a visualization on how it would look. The company also needs to invest money of designing a mobile application where the customers can buy the products directly from their smart phone, hire a community manager to manage social network accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.

Design contest where the winner will get free products, this will help the customer to be curious about the brand.

Create relationship with companies like Home Depot and other retail store and sell your products using those channels as well.
