a)

Mark a point A on the line then with AP=BP mark other point B

Now take radius on compass as something greater than AP but less than 2AP

Now draw two circles with A and B as centers

Join the intersecting points and P

This is the required perpendicular

b)

Same method as above but rougly take radius as more than have of length of line segment AB

c)

Make arcs with center D and radius less than half of CD on lines DC and DE

Then using the intersection point as center one after other with same radius draw circles.

Now with straightedge join the point D and intersection of circles.
