No body uses hub anymore because the performance of hub is not satisfying, every packet is sent to each and every hub port, instead of just one on a switch. only because of this behavior, anyone with a scanner on their pc can sniff all the packets which are being sent on the network. Most of the stuff is still sent in the plain text. So there is no point in using hubs anymore. Hub is a cheap but also unmanaged, as we say every pill comes with its own bitterness.
