In this project, a simple generator that can be operated by hand was made. It was based on the concept of electromagnetic induction. The generator was made of copper wires, magnets, a shaft, and a wooden base. The generator was connected to an LED which should emit light whenever the magnet is turned at high speed. In the end, the generator didn\'t work while using copper wire; however, it worked using aluminum insulated wires while it generates about 2 mV.

Solution

A simple, hand operated generator was fabricated in this project. It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The main parts of the generator are copper wires, magnets, a shaft and a wooden base. When the magnet is rotated at high speeds an LED which is connected to the generator should glow. Finally, the generator didn\'t give output using copper wire; anyhow, it generated approximately 2mV using aluminum insulated wires.
