At that point Crawford asked Mora whether she or other team members had talked or confronted Kaylee about her slow work pace Mora replied, \"Yes, we have told Kaylee on numerous occasions to pick u speed and get the lead out. Clients don\'t like to wait and wait, beyond the time of their scheduled appointment with her. But she just continues to work at her usual slow pace. Dorothy Craig has spent an excessive amount of time instruct- ing Kaylee on some of the more effective ways to do the job. Even that hasn\'t worked. Maybe she\'s just too fat to do the job here!\" Crawford decided to meet with the director, Lamarr Adams, and his immedi- ate manager, Sabrina Lopez. Why?Solution
Answer:
2.Importance of Crawford to identify the issues that distract group cohesiveness:
Group cohesivenss is a process in which the people work together with similar interests and ability
-It is important to identify the issue and solve because if there is no group cohesiveness then it would lead to lower productivity of the team which inturn will affect the grwoth of the organization
-If the issue that distracts group cohesiveness is not identified then the employees would not work as a team and there would be conflicts among them resulting in low efficiency at work
-The performance of every individual is connected with the group cohesiveness
-Every member in the group may feel dissatisfied with their job so Crawford should treat every memeber of the team equally and evaluate them
-If group cohesiveness is distracted, then it creates a level of pressure at work and some individuals may be posed with lot of work to complete on time.So this creates an inequality among the team members
-If the group cohesiveness is distracted then the company would lack behind the creative elements and innovative ideas.
-Domination of some team members can be exhibited if the group cohesion is not maintained and this will lead other employees to feel low about their work
So It is very important for Crawford to identify all the issues that distract group cohesiveness as lack of group cohesiveness may affect the above stated factors
4.If i was Crawford, then i would call Kaylee for a personal conversation and enquire about her problems.Once the problem is identified i would suggest possible solution to speed up her work
Based on her weakness,i would suggest her to attend training and increase the pace of work.
I would treat every employees equally and evaluate their performance. So if Kaylee\'s performance is not upto the mark then no special rewards would be given rather constructive feedbacks would be given to her
Even after several trainings and advice,if Kaylee is not able to speed up the pace of work, then she can be changed to other department where she can do her best or else fire her from the job because it would affect the performance of other employees also on seeing her pace of work and they would also continue to do the same .
If her weight is the major problem for her slow pace of work, then i would suggest her to go to gym or fitness training for three months by leaving the job with loss of pay and lose her weight and then join again.
