Solution
Precision is the closeness among two or more measurements while accuracy is the correctness or closeness between the measured and standard value.
These are the measure of being exact, true and free from error.
In soda, accuracy can be determined from relative error. While if same measurement being carried out several times it gives the precision. Standard deviation also gives the precision. The significant digits in measurement also gives the precision of the measurement.
In titration, the burette, volumetric flasks should be calibrated before use to get the precise and accurate results. Graduated pipettes, well balanced and calibrated weighing machines should be used. The samples should be completely dry. The end should be precisely detected. If we get the same equivalence point again and again on carrying the titration experiment, then the result is very precise. Smaller the standard deviation, more accurate is the result.
