In an organizational setup, communication helps employees understand the company culture and make their ideas, thoughts, and feelings to understand to others. Organizational communication helps in building an open company culture in which innovation flourishes, employees can come forward and share their ideas and get recognized, and employees feel part of the larger organization. Communication helps people build an interpersonal relationship and make them feel part of a larger cause. Employees cannot work in isolation from one another. Organizational interaction helps employees connect to each other, build rapport, feel part of a team and get to fulfill their social needs as well. In the absence of proper and open communication, the organizational atmosphere would be too mechanical and build up stress in employees. Various scientific studies show that social interaction and the feeling of being part of a social group relieves stress and makes people happier.
