Solution
Here are top 5 lists of motivators for me.
As far as my expectations are concern, me as an employee also =wants motivation to get my work done. My expectation is that my boss should intervene in my difficult tasks which are creating a stress for me. In the job there are work related stress, and I face stress when my work is not done because of any circumstances. Here the boss should intervene and get my work done. For an example I work in a retail store handling FMCG department, sometimes the payment of the vendors are stuck because of some issues. Here my reporting manager should support me to get the payment done by talking the finance team. By this way the work is done and stress is released.
The boss should have friendly relation with me. My work should be valued and promotion is done as per my contribution.
I handle a team of 26 people so I motivate people in my way. First thing is that I maintain a friendly relation with my team members. If any problem occurs I stand to solve that issue.
Money is the best motivator hence I always give the positive rating to those who are performing well. This increases their payments.
In every quarter we plan for a trip together, It strengthen my work and social relation with them. If any work has to be completed my one order gets the work done.
In every quarter my KEY responsibility area is to promote an employee. I always do so. Because of promotional activity they work their best to get the promotion.
If I call them early in the morning or late night for overtime work then I always insure that I ask them for breakfast or dinner. I take the responsibilities of their food in overtime.
So maintaining a healthy relationship with them creates a good work environment that helps all the staffs to work together.
