The next morning it wakes up and discovers that it has slipped down 1 ft. while sleeping. If this happens every day, how many days will the snail take to reach the top of a wall 13 ft. in height?

a snail creeps 3 ft up a wall during the daytime and slips 1 feet down while sleeping.
so overall snail moves 2 feet up in a day
in 5 days snail will cover 2x5=10 feet
next day snail moves 3 feet up so total distance covered =10+3=13
Hence it will take 6 days to reach the top.
