1. Firewall: If you don\'t have a firewall activated on your machine, the unwanted or unauthorized access of machine could be possible by hackers. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the Firewall, especially when it is connected to the network(internet).

2. Clicking on spam/public site links or mails could lead to transfer data through cookies or some other medium from your computer to other remote machine. So, it is necessary to be cautious when accessing the links that are not from legitimate sources.

3. Viruses: Viruses could be transfered when downloading files from internet. When downloading and installing a package or file from an internet, the software could install some malicious thing onto your machine which can almost completely perish your machine and its data. So, should be cautious when downloading files especially from illegitimate sources.
