Solution

HISTOGRAM: histograms are a good way of displaying quantitative data.it shows us the general sape or we can say gives idea about the general shape of the data, its frequency values.

a histogram is a grayscale image also known as black and white image and its each pixel has only one value which is the intensity of the pixeland this value could lie between 0-255\'

.a grayscale image is basically composed of the shades of gray,we can say various light shades of black and darker shades of white with high intensty.

histogram has basic four contrasts or four colour.

1.dark

2.light.

3.low contrast

4.high contrast

in histogram gray level and pixel values agr given,on basis of which we transform the image.

formula:

pr(rk)=nk/MN

where, MN is total number of pixels in the image and nk is the number of pixel that have intensity rk.

histogram is the technique of adjusting the imageintensities of enhance the contrasts.histograms are plotted in a 2-d plain, having pixels intesities and the frequency on two different axis,or could also be made by finding the probablities between pixels and frequencies.

.by performing a histogram process range of pixels are increased and therefor the image looks more spread .

BUT histogram doesnot enhances the contrast of some images, but on other hand it can change its tempratue or add noise, whic is generally not acceptable because it ruins the original image, some times it increases brightness,or darkness,on cost of which some areas becomes clear, but some alreadt clear ares becomes darker, therefor it is advicable not to do the change,These undesired effect is a result of digitization so this is the reason that,in some digital images histogram shows negligible effects or no effects.
