Solution

1: Pressure from lean system is basically because of constrained environment the lean system is creating. By reducing the inventory and converting that to Just In time approach there are lot of risk involved like Suppliers should deliver the raw materials on time and has to made tieup with multiple suppliers for the same inventory, then service level might hit by implementing lean practices and it may results in overwork for labors and conflict may arise during decision making and strategic planning. Competitors may take advanatage during such perplex situation.

2: Companies deal with pressure generally by increasing the bandwidth of all possibilities. Like if they are facing so much inventory level issues, then they do procurement higher than that of their forecasted demand. But certain companies through their designed lean methodologies and six sigma practices they forecast pressure and will design their network accordingly and during pressure they will keep a buffer on every requirement and will release the buffer once the normal situation is reinstated.
