Good question. There are many laws about employment in each nation, those laws were protected by some constitutional bodies. But still, most of the employees and few of the employers were strugling in many aspects. For this i have taken the law of Occupational Safety and Health Act, which is a pillar for relationship between employee, employer in many dimensions.
As per the law, the clean and neat maintanance of work enviroment and work premises is essential to employees. All the employees must follow the rules at work place to maintain the environment neat and clean. But most of the emloyees do not follow the guidelines and regulations. They do not prefer to focus on this, un-intentionally they may spoil the work place by placing dust and wastage there it self. Mean while they may have some conversations about un-needed issues and pollute the work environment.
When it comes to Employer and his contribution to this law, they need to establish all essential components to maintain the worksafety at work place. Particularly availability of medical kits, first aid kits, maintanance of a doctor (as per number of employees), regular cleaning, hassle free work station, maintain greenery at work place, providing good refreshing/recreational facilities to employees, stress relief actions and so on. Most of the times employer just introduce all these, but most of these will be in sleeping mode and do not fuction properly.
