Solution

A function is a relation for which each value from the set the first components of the ordered pairs is associated with exactly one value from the set of second components of the ordered pair. To find the composite of the functions, we put one function into another function in place of independent variable.

Domain is all values of independent variable for which function can be defined.

Range is all possible funciton values for given domain.

To find the domain, we discard any points for which function is undefined, remaining points for which funciton is defined are included in domain.
