MW of 1-pentanol = 88.2 g/mol
density of 1-pentanol = 0.814 g/mL
MW of pentanoic acid = 102 g/mol
density of pentanoic acid = 0.939 g/mL

moles of alcohol, 1-pentanol required for reaction = 0.013 mol.
moles of carboxylic acid, pentanoic acid required for reaction = 0.013 mol + 0.001 mol = 0.014 mol.
Thus grams of alcohol, 1-pentanol required for reaction =0.013 * 88.2 = 1.1466 g after rounding off to three significant figure we get 1.15 g of 1-pentanol.
Similarly grams of alcohol, pentanoic acid required for reaction =0.014 * 102 = 1.428 g after rounding off to three significant figure we get 1.43 g of pentanoic acid.
