sign test Ho M 10 H1 M 10 is it right that if you want t
sign test
Ho = M = 10
H1 = M < 10
is it right that if you want to test if the median is lower than ten, that you have to do 10 - each value, than you count the + and than you calculate the binomial chance P (i>= # +) ? Or I calculate the values each - 10 and if I then count the + the cance is P (i <=#+)?
Solution
No need to subtract 10 from each observations. Simply count number of observations less than 10.
