The EteX Company which specializes in etextbooks is looking

The EteX Company, which specializes in e-textbooks, is looking to provide Internetworking capabilities from its home location in Boston, MA to three new satellite offices. The locations of these offices are San Antonio, TX; Miami, FL; and Seattle, WA. Since all textbooks are sold and accessed through the Internet, any disruption of computing services lasting longer than 48 hours would have a significant impact on the company’s revenue and reputation. Therefore, the company wishes to have the capabilities of shared network resources between offices. Each office has 100 nodes, 10 servers on three LANs, and one storage area network.

Solution

all these New offices gateway will be connected with each other using Lane . so if the home Boston office is taken as Gw 1 and other remote offices as Gw2 GW3 and Gw4 , there are having connnection with each other using a lane. Any Loop resolving protocol(STP) should run between these lane.

All these gateway would be connected internally with all their servers and the storage

when there is a request for any of the GW the server program would search for the Ebook and the same request will be forwarded to all the remote offices and they will go to the server and the server would find the request , if there is a hit it would be returned back to the requester .

By this the resource would be distributed in all there offices and the parellely these server can run to find the resources and get the result and send back to the requester.
