ACalculate the molar solubility of Ag2SO4 in 013 M K2SO4 sol
A.Calculate the molar solubility of Ag2SO4 in 0.13 M K2SO4 solution. The Ksp for the silver sulfate is 1.7 x 10-5. B.Convert molar solubility into solubility in g/L (there should be 2 answers)
Solution
similar problem will help you to solve this ...only just substitute values ..
Calculate the molar solubility of Ag2SO4 in 0.21 M K2SO4 solution.
Answer: Ksp = 1.4 x 10^-5 = [Ag+] ^2 [SO42-]
[Ag+] = 2x
[SO42-] = x + 0.21
1.4 x 10^-5 = [2x] ^2 ( x + 0.21)
x = molar solubility = 0.0041 M
