Tinea pedis- affects feet and web of the toe. - pruritic , scaly soles and painful fissures between the toes are common. Rarely vesicular or ulcerative lesions are seen.
Tinea capitis- infection on scalp - scaly, boggy raised red rings can be seen. Lesions are small red papule around the hair shaft.
Recurrence of Herpesvirus- After the primary infection Herpesvirus continues to be present in latent form in the sensory and autonomic ganglia of the nervous system. This is due to the physical or psychological stress, changes in immune system, local injuries, radiotherapy, ultraviolet or sunlight.
