a) It is clearly visible from the figure that g(x)>=f(x) in x values ranging from 1 to 7 including both.

The solution set would be [1,7] for g(x)>= f(x).

b) From graph it is seen that f(x)>g(x) for values less than 1 and greater than 7.

The solution set would be (-infinity,1) and (7, infinity) for f(x)>g(x).
