Logistics management: It is about managing customer demand through effective planning, controlling of storage and distribution of goods . This deals with maintaining service level and using right mode of transportation to reduce the overall distribution cost. Storage of inventory is also a part of logistics management. Proper planning of logistics is required which is based on the actual demand or the forecasted demand. Service qulity is one of the important criteria of logistics management

Value chain: Its about delivering the product and service to the customers on the right time at the right place which will satisfy the customer needs. It should give a unique experience to the customer in terms of quality of service, delivery promptness. proper and effective communication , satsifying packaging of goods .This includes chain or process of activities such as proper order placement, on time production fo goods, storage and distribution of goods based on the requested or promised delivery date.

3: Distribution: It involved movement of goods from factor or storage location to the end customers. It involves various mode of transport such as rail, ocean, air, road etc. Distribition includes planning and controlling by using right modes and proper capacity utilisation to deliver the product to the right customers at the right time at lowest cost.
