Solve the equation coshx 3sinhy 2sinhx 5 6coshySolutionco

Solve the equation.

coshx = 3sinhy

2sinhx = 5 - 6coshy

Solution

coshx = 3sinhy ............. (1)

and   2sinhx = 5 - 6coshy ................. (2)

square (1) on both sides (coshx)^2 = 9(sinhy)^2

1+(sinhx)^2 =9(sinhy)^2

Using (2) =======> 1+(5/2 - 3coshy)^2 = 9(sinhy)^2

1 + 25/4 + 9*(coshy)^2 - 15*coshy = 9(sinhy)^2

(29/4) - 15*coshy + 9[(coshy)^2 - (sinhy)^2 ] = 0

  (29/4) - 15*coshy + 9 = 0

65/4 = 15*coshy

  coshy = 1.083

y = 0.40466

Solve the equation. coshx = 3sinhy 2sinhx = 5 - 6coshySolutioncoshx = 3sinhy ............. (1) and 2sinhx = 5 - 6coshy ................. (2) square (1) on both
