This question relates to contract law
Kitty wanted to have her hair dyed before her college graduation party but could not afford to pay the $200 fee to the local hairdresser. Without any mention of payment, her friend Sarah helped Kitty dye her hair. After seeing what a good job Sarah did on her hair, Kitty told Sarah she would give her $50 for helping. Will Sarah be able to enforce this promise? Why or why not?

Solution
For a contract to be enforceable, there should be offer and acceptance and the person receiving the promise provides something of value in exchange for it.
Sarah helped Kitty dye her hair without asking for any payment. Though Kitty promises the Sarah to give $50 for help, there is no consideration by Kitty, therefore the contract is not enforceable.
