Answer 1:- As per the salad bowl concept, the integration of various cultures of United States citizens can be seen as a salad which is combined and mixed comprehensively. In this concept people of different cultures live together in harmony, like the lettuce, tomatoes, and carrots in a salad.

On the other hand, in case of melting pot, there is no cultural harmony and diversity and in this, the cultural differences are avoided and not respected.

If we look at the point of view of marketing, cultural differences and diversity has become quite important for the marketer for product development and conveying the message to the target customers.
