B) v is proportional to t and the square of s; and v=80m/s when t=5 s and s=2m.

Solution

V = k(H) where k is proportionality constant

a) 2 = k(64) ; k = 1/32

b) v =k(t*s^2) ; where k is proportionality constant

80 = k(5*4)

k = 80/20 = 4

k = 4
