What are the four kinds of what and who in a lead and when
Solution
A lead is the posibility of a person or an organisation becoming a customer of the organisation. A lead may or maynot end up in becoming the customer of the organisation. There are various kinds of leads which can be understood as stated below:
1.Hot Lead: This type of lead is a prospect of buying the product or service in the organisation but the proposal should be customised according to the needs of the customer and then approached so that the lead can be turned into sales as fast as possible. Hot leads are for consumers who have 90% made up the mind to purchase but just require a push for the same and when we know that our product suites 100% for what the customer was looking for.
2.Information Qualified Lead:here the buyer is just begining find solution to the problem. the customer tries to know about the company and will the company be able to solve his problem. providing free downloads can help the prospect know better and make a decision for the same.eg. free webinars, case studies, samples etc
3.Marketing Qualified Leads: when the marketing strategy of the company tries to engage with the customer and successfully lures him into attending or downloading free stuff provided by the company then it is called Marketing Qualified Lead. The marketing has lead them to take action. The prospect has become warm and can now be pitched correctly so as to make him a customer.
4.Sales Ready Accepted Leads: When the prospect itself comes to you or the representative of your comapny and wishes to speak to you about the prospect there is a very good chance that he might buy the product since he has come to you and might have already researched about the product and the organisation. Just the right amount of information and the sale might take place.
