From which one language are virtually all other languages derived? What language was designed for teaching the Structured Programming methodology? What 2 languages emphasize reliability, particularly for embedded systems?

Solution

1) Algol is the one language which has major contribution became the root to all other languages developed later those are pascal,c,c++, Java etc.. Even though there are languages before Algol which are FORTRON, LISP but there is very small amount concept is used in Algol. But it is Algol which is main fundamental for all the other langugaes.

2) ALGOL is the first language which is designed as structured programming model. At first this was set as acadamia and later used by practitioners led to the wide spread acceptence and popularity to this languge.

3) Ada and C languages are the reliable languages for the embedded systems. Assembly language is also reliable. Ada language is the most reliable due to its strong typing and other characterstics. C is also a reliable language which is simple language where instructions are typically relate to the common computer instructions. Assembly Language is also great because of its direct manipulation to the computer hardware.
