Answer- Renal failure is a medical condition of impaired kidney function in which the kidneys fail to filter metabolic wastes from the blood. Kidney failure determined by decrease in glomerular filtration rate. The rate at blood is filtered in the glomeruli of the kidney and decrease in or absence of urine production or determination of waste products-urea in the blood.

Kidneys produce hormone called erythropoietin -EPO. EPO prompts bone marrow to make red blood cells which carry oxygen throughout the body. When the kidneys are diseased or damaged they do not make enough EPO result the bone marrow makes fewer red blood cells, causing anemia

Causes of anemia in people with kidney disease include blood loss from hemodialysis and low levels of the following nutrients found in food- iron this lead to vitamin deficiency anemia -pernicious anemia.

Anemia of chronic disease- diseases such as cancer, HIV-AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disease, Crohn\'s disease and chronic inflammatory diseases can interfere with the production of red blood cells.
