Determine the size of the sample space that corresponds to the experiment of tossing a coin the following number of times: 4 times=16 which is correct. 6 times=64 which is correct. n times=?
I have no idea what n times refers too. I thought it meant 6+4 equaling 10 times so I tried 10 times to the 2 making 1024 and I was wrong. CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT (n times) MEANS

If a coin is tossed \'n\' times then the size of the sample space = 2^n
where \'n\' is the number of times the coin is tossed
Here when n=4 ; it is 2^4 = 16
when n=6 , the size is 2^6=64
