The best way to rule the kingdom is democracy. It is by far the most challenging form of government - both for politicians and for the people. The term democracy comes from the Greek language and means \"rule by the (simple) people\".

Democracy has four key elements:

1. Such a political system which choose and replace the government through free and fair elections.

2. The system which allows active participation of the people, as citizens, in politics and civic life.

3. Democracy protects the human rights of all citizens.

4. That rule of law, in which the laws and procedures apply equally to all citizens.

A democratic government has the supreme power vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.
