Solution

It has kinetic energy and enthalpy due to its temperature

KE= 0.5*V*V= 0.5 *20*20 = 200 J/kg

From steam tables at pressure = 3MPa, Ts= 133.5 and hg= 2742.7kJ/kg

Enthalpy= 2742.7 kJ/kg+ Cp* (400-133.5)=3009 kJ/kg    (Cp= 1.002 kJ/kg)

Total energy= 3009+0.2= 3009.2 kJ/kg
