How can supervisors be both flexible and consistent in their leadership styles? Aren’t these contradictory? Explain

Solution

These two terms seems to be contradictory at first as long as the leadership styles are concerned but on the other hand they both can be put together in the leadership styles by the supervisors by knowing when to use what. This when becomes very important here and leaders must know its consequences.

A leader should be a Consistent Leader as long as their ethics are concerned or when they need to listen to their subordinates and a leader should be Flexible when presented with a new approach to solve a problem or working with people from different culture.

Hence if a leader knows when to behave with which attributes he/she can be both consistent and flexible at the saem time.
