They have the similar form of house brands, private label brands as in the USA, own brands in the UK and Home Brands in Australia. They are also regarded as generic brands.

These brands are managed and governed independently by the stores or the retailers in a specific chain of stores. The manufacturing, packaging, and marketing of the goods is managed by the retailer so that they can have a better relationship with the customers.

These types of brands are relatively cheaper than the national brands as the production can be optimized by the retailer to match the demand of the customers and eliminate the advertising costs. The similar regulations are to be adhered to by these brands as in case of national brands.
