Part A: Healthcare is not the only industry that has strict privacy and security regulations; for example, the financial industry also has very strict regulations. Why do you believe it has been so difficult to compel compliance?
Solution
Many times regulations are typical to implement. Due to lack of knowledge of many legal aspects involved we fail to frame the tight regulations for the end users. Even, these compliances might influence the operations of day to day business For example: If, company make very difficult and secure software to use for the customers then many customers might opt to use low featured organization where easier process will be available. Regulations must be easier to implement so that each stakeholders can deploy it.
So, people cannot be compelled to follow the strict regulations until they have greater awareness, skills and competency as well.
