Teeth staining which is temporary (if syrup is used)

The syrup can be mixed in water or juice and can be drunk with straw

Discontinue the drug and seek medical help immediately

Stomach upset

Ideally ferrous sulphate has to be take on empty stomach but if the patient is not able to tolerate it, she can take it with food.
