Solve the following system of equations x y3z 5 3x z0 x4yz 2

Solve the following system of equations. x- y+3z =-5 3x +z=0 x+4yz- 20 A) (0, 0, 5)) B) (0,5, 0) D) I(0, 5, -5)h

Solution

multiplying equation first by 4 and add it to equation third, we get

4x-4y+12z+x+4y+z=-20+20

5x+13z=0

multiply second by -13 and add it to above equation, we get

-39x-13z+5x+13z=0

-34x=0

x=0

5x+13z=0

0+13z=0

z=0

x-y+3z=-5

0-y+3(0)=-5

y=5

(0,5,0)

option B

 Solve the following system of equations. x- y+3z =-5 3x +z=0 x+4yz- 20 A) (0, 0, 5)) B) (0,5, 0) D) I(0, 5, -5)h Solutionmultiplying equation first by 4 and ad
