Answer:- Job evaluation can be defined as a process of determination of systematically and objectively, the worth of one job in comparison to other job without giving any consideration to personalities or prevailing structure.

The main purpose of job evaluation is to accomplish and maintain an equitable distribution of the basic wages and/or compensations as per the position in the organization. The objective of this is to establish the internal equity with a graded hierarchy of jobs within an organization and a sort of external equity with the external market rate for similar jobs.

Job analysis can be defined as a process of determining and identifying the different duties and requirements associated with a certain job and its relative significance for a given job. It can be seen as a process where different types of judgments are formed about the data collected on a job.
