Why should supervisors be concerned with an employee’s work-related attitudes?

Attitude is the way of thinking. What is the view point of an employee about their job is very important. Let us understand with an example. Three men were laying bricks. One passerby asked them what they were doing.
The first one replied don’t you see I am laying bricks. The second one replied don’t you see I am making my living and their one replied don’t you see I am making a beautiful monument.
From the above example it is clear that the 3rd person is doing the job very well than the other person. This is called attitude. How you take your work. In this example all the workers were doing the same job but 3rd one was doing better than the 2 people because of his way of thinking.
This is the reason he supervision should always think the employee’s work related attitudes.
1 first aspect is the job involvement. It is defined as a involvement of a employee in the tasks.
The second aspect is perceived organizational support- It is the employee’s believe that how much the organization is giving value to his contribution.
3 The third one is the employees engagement is the tasks.
4 Last is job satisfaction.
