Find the area of a sector of a circle having radius r and ce

Find the area of a sector of a circle having radius r and central angle theta. Express the answer to the nearest tenth. r = 16.0 m, theta = 20 degree 2.8 m^2 0.5 m^2 89.4 m^2 44.7 m^2

Solution

Area of a sector of a circle = (theta/360)*pi*radius^2

= (20/360)(pi*16^2)

= (1/18)*pi*256)

= 44.68 mt^2

= 44.7 mt^2

Option D

Find the area of a sector of a circle having radius r and central angle theta. Express the answer to the nearest tenth. r = 16.0 m, theta = 20 degree 2.8 m^2 0
