When propagating plants asexually which cutting would yield better results? Plantlet vs leaf cutting? Why ? Please explain in detail and provide source.

Solution

Plantlets are small plants which can directly implement on soil for production of plants. Leaf cutting is better for plantlets production. Generally, such methods use for production of flowerless plants. Therefore, their leaves produce plantlets in their leaf margins. Plantlets tend to develop into plant, they are specific for such purpose, and they are strong enough to survive in the environment when we compare to other forms of plant producers.
