Species diversity is more in picture 1. Here there are many species in a single area. So this region is more suitable for different species and hence it has more resources available for these species to survive. Second picture has less diversity because it contains only single species and the resources are also less for other species. Third picture has also less diverse as only single species is found. 4th picture contains 2 to 3 species and when compared to 1st picture it is less diverse but when compared to 2nd and 3rd picture it shows more diversity. 5th picture also shows no diversity as it contains no different species. Immigration of species are there in figure 1 and 4 that is why there are more species in that particular area. Speciation and extinction changes species diversity . that is why there are less variety of species in 2 , 3 and 5.
