Second, choose university or college (4-year degree granting institution) NOT in the country of your birth which speaks a language other than English (for example, Australia, New Zealand, England, and parts of Canada primarily speak English)

a) Compare the difficulty in finding the College Catalog at each university (difficulty is a subjective measure that you determine) and why did you choose that level of difficulty?

b) Does each college offer internationalization, such as choice of language?

c) Use Google Translate (https://translate.google.com/ ) to translate a non-English college website page to English. How would you rate the translation (rating is a subjective measure that you determine) and why did you choose that rating?

Solution

I choose  Massachusetts Institute of Technology from USA

I choose other university - Novosibirsk State University from Russia

a) Both the colleges have their college catalog easily accessible in English language

I would rate MIT as 9/10 and NSU as 8/10. This rating is just due to the fact that NSU\'s catalog has to be translated in English which takes bit of time.

b) Both the college offer internationalization and one can choose the mode of course delivery

c) Translated the NSU page and I would rate the translation as 8/10 as some od the sentences were mis formatted
