Now suppose you want to continue flying due north at 100 kmh
Now suppose you want to continue flying due north at 100 km/h. As the navigator you need to tell the pilot which direction to point the nose of the plane and what speed to fly so that you go due north. Here\'s how to do this (follow the numbered steps below carefully): Draw line parallel to the wind vector Draw a vector starting at the beginning of the wind vector that is parallel to line 3 until it meets line 4. This gives you the speed & direction the plane needs to point in if you want to actually go north. Record these values here. Draw the resultant vector. This is the actual direction & speed (100 km/h north) you will end up going Join the heads of vectors 1 and 2 (dotted line)
Solution
Nothing special in question if you are moving 100km/h in North ,then where is problem with its magnitude ?it will remain same ,also direction will remain north.Other wise somthing is missed in statement.
