Solution

If two force F1 and F2 forming angle theta

then resultant force will be

F = F1^2 + F2^2 + 2*F1*F2 cos(theta)

so here F1 = 52 and F2 = 54 and theta = 90°

F = 52^2 + 54^2 + 2*52*54cos(90°)

=2704+2916 +0

=5620

=74.9666 N
