My definition of leadership is motivating a group of people to achieve a common goal. Leadership is an ability to lead a group of people toward a common goal.

Leadership is so complex because it is not so easy. There are many problems occurs like conflicts, giving equal appraisal, equal opportunities and reward for every team member.

There is a team and it is quite possible that people have conflicts with each other. Some because of personal interests and some because of differences in opinions and thoughts. A leader’s responsibility is to maintain the flow of the work and resolve the conflicts. Conflict resolution is very complex. This makes the leadership for complex.

Some people challenge the team leader’s position as well. While forming a team there is 4 stages.

In the second stage there are huge conflicts and people challenge the position of the team leader. Now here the leaders should have ability to prove his/her position so that team member can accept the position of the leader. So you can imagine how complex team leading is.

There are many characters which make a leader effective and great.

Bullying by leadership means leading with angriness, sharpness, authoritative etc and making other uncomfortable and thinking that this leadership style is favoring and everyone is on line. But there is nothing like. The bully leaders use harsh words to motivate, bark their decisions, and threaten the employees to get their work done. Bullying is not just abusing and assaults but it has wider aspects. The team leader gives communing orders. This type of leadership harms very much as it affects the employee retention.
