You are the lead instructional designer recently hired for a large-scale project. Your client has asked you to describe why needs and learner analyses are important to the success of the project. What do you tell your client? Do not assume your client is familiar with the instructional design process.

Solution

Untill unless we do not have an ided what to do and how to do, we can not proceed further without any limitaion. It is the same case with designing of something, or planning of something. Usually we says that failing to plan is planning to fail- if we not plan properly, it leads to failure only. Hence, we must carefully plan about all the series of activities, what must be done, when it must be done, how it must be complete, by whom it complete and so on. All these describes the nature and importance of the task or design.

Is the same case with designing also. If we do not know what and how it must do, the output may be like similar to other as usual, nothing special will be there. If there is no unique aspects and characteristics about our product/service, we may become a regular player in the market, without any USPs. Hence with all these reasons, we must focus on unique and innovative designs, which help us to get competitive edge in the market.
