The equation appears to be -3 < x 3. Then, on dividing both the sides by 2, we have -3/2 < x 3/2 . Thus x the interval ( -3/2, 3/2]. The graphs appended are intervals of the real number line. The pictures are not at all clear. We have to select the graph representing the interval ( -3/2, 3/2].
