World population growth is a serious problem that we are trying to resolve over decades. it is determined by the percentage of increase in growth. if human have to survive the population growth must be controlled for sustaining food, habitat, job and shelter for the upcoming generation and also for maintaining our beautiful planet earth and its ecology.

as recently declared by UN current world population is about 7 billion. which is still massive but the growth rate is controlled over past few dwcades. the growth rate reached in its peak in the 1960. in that 20 th century population growth increased over 400%. at that time the fertility factor was so high it is the ratio of childs per women. in 1960 the average was 5 child per women. but after that due to our awareness about population growth in 21st centurythe population growth is slowed down and the fertility factor is 2 child per women. statisticians estimated that in this 50% rise in growth cause a 11billion population in 2100.

the highest growth rate observed in the past century waspopulation no reached to 6.1 billion from only 1.5 billion in just 100 years. but as we slowed down the rate from the past but still its high enough and more policies should be implented to sort out this massive problem.
